The week before our school holidays, the primary department had some very special visitors, 3 baby chicks from Emily's Farm. The chicks stayed with Mrs Davidson in Oak class and also visited other primary classes. Pupils were able to learn about the chicks, using a story alongside their visit about the farm they live on. Pupils who wished to, were able to hold them and stroke them. Pupils in Oak class particularly liked listening to the noises the chicks made and watching them interact with each other, everyone was amazed with how much they grew over the days they spent with us! They also made an appearance in our Easter celebration assembly!
Thank you to Mrs Davidson and Emily's farm for providing us with this opportunity.
