On Friday 7th June, the Secondary department (and some Primary learners!) took part in a fantastic experience day as Ian from Druhm limited came into school to lead a sensory drumming session!
We all had such a brilliant day learning how to keep a beat, how to follow simple (and some not so simple!) routines with the drum sticks and how to incorporate drumming with movement of our bodies!
This session also provided a great sensory stimulus for our sensory learners to engage with.
Both our learners and our staff gave some lovely feedback about the experience - it was certainly a day enjoyed by all!
