Marl Pits Colour Run

On 5^th July, a small group of year 6 and 7 pupils were invited to join in with a colour run at Marl Pits Leisure Centre. This was organised by School Games for Rossendale. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and we were joined by year 6 and 7 pupils from primary and secondary schools across Rossendale. Firstly, we all joined in with a warm up including singing and dancing. Then we all threw our paint sachets into the air and got covered in paint! We followed a route around Marl Pits by walking and running, hit by paint at different paint stations.

It was a lot of fun and very messy!
