This half term in Maple Tree Class, we have been exploring our exciting topic all about Water. We have had lots of fun learning through a variety of practical activities.

We enjoyed experimenting with water in different ways and discovering how it can change and move. We learned about different bodies of water, the many uses of water, life under the sea, and how we can all help to care for and protect the water in our world.

In our art lessons, we explored the work of the famous artists David Hockney and Claude Monet. We looked closely at their paintings and practised creating our own beautiful artwork inspired by their styles. We were very proud of our colourful masterpieces.

We have also enjoyed listening to music that sounds like falling rain and exploring a range of musical instruments that can create rain-like sounds.

It has been a fantastic half term full of exploration, creativity, and discovery. We are very proud of everything we have learned and cannot wait to see what exciting adventures next half term will bring!
