Welcome to East Lancashire Inclusion Partnership

We are a Teaching School Alliance, based in East Lancashire, formed from a collaboration between primary, secondary and specialist schools and further and higher education providers and led by Tor View Specialist Learning Community, a National Teaching School and National Support School.

We are passionate that all children and young people, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, are entitled to a high quality education in which they are supported to learn, contribute and participate in all aspects of the life of their school and local community.

We understand that inclusive education isn’t just about developing education for learners with special educational needs and disabilities in either specialist or mainstream settings. We believe that all schools can be welcoming, learner-friendly communities capable of responding flexibly to accommodate the diverse range of needs of all their learners.

We’re working together to make these communities a reality, and invite you to join us.
