Today, our Key Stage 4 students had the incredible opportunity to welcome representatives from The Raft Foundation, a local food bank dedicated to supporting our community.
During the visit, the team from The Raft Foundation shared insightful stories about their vital work in alleviating food poverty and ensuring that everyone in our community has access to nutritious meals. They discussed the importance of compassion and teamwork, inspiring our learners to think about how they can contribute positively to those in need.
The interactive session encouraged our students to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussions about community service, hunger awareness, and the role each of us can play in making a difference. Students and staff had also brought in items to create a hamper that was donated to the Raft Foundation.
